[ Cut him some slack Add he wasn't around for the last incident. ]
He can be difficult to deal with at times and a little stubborn so I wouldn't blame anyone for losing their temper. Either way, I wanted to know what kind of person he was assigned to.
I'm used to dealing with worse, something like this is no problem for me. [if he can deal with Jakob's ceaseless nagging... not to mention Rin acts a lot like Elsword, and he definitely knows how to handle a brat like that.] I'll try to keep him out of trouble while he's in my service, so don't worry about a thing, kuku.
[ ....sure a god can keep him out of trouble... but who'll keep the god out of trouble? ]
I'll hold you to it. But one last thing before I let you go: I heard of people receiving things from back home or having their personal belongings with them. If you ever chance upon an old Japanese sword in his possession, please let me know immediately. Don't let him draw it.
[ Last he knew, Rin didn't know about his demonic half... but then, this isn't his Rin. ]
[Bad news, Yukio: Add is untrustworthy and no one's keeping him out of trouble.
If he's trying to give off an impression of being a dependable, trustworthy god, though, it would be a logical move to just agree to Yukio's request... but how can he bring up a weird thing like that and not elaborate? Is it dangerous? Does it do something cool? Add hasn't heard of anyone receiving items from home that weren't useful or meaningful to them in some way, so it can't be all bad.]
I'm afraid I can't keep a promise like that without knowing what it does. What sort of effect does it have? Does it only work when Rin uses it?
Do you mean the flames? [or something related to them, anyway]
Ignorance isn't a long-term solution. If it's something he's capable of, it'd be better for him to understand it and know his own limitations. If it's dangerous to use that's even more of a reason to understand it properly. Even if you can't tell him directly because he's a shinki there are ways around that.
[ Okay not that any of this went over his head but there's only one thing on his mind right now. ]
You know about the flames?
[ His emotion doesn't convey easily over text but he's practically shaking as he types it out. How? How did this man know about the flames? Did he see it when-- no, he doesn't want to think about that. ]
They appeared for him during the training session to stop a projectile. He didn't seem to notice it, though. It was probably a fluke since it only happened once.
[And he remembers the flames from his vision of Rin's death, but he wouldn't think of that as usable evidence. The fire could've been unrelated to Rin, based on that information alone.]
[ A fluke... yeah... flukes are good. Flukes happen. But still... ]
The sword should have sealed them completely. If they appeared once, something must have happened when he died that unsealed them. Either way, I suggest training him to keep them under control. They can be unpredictable if left unchecked.
As for how the seal works it has something to do with what he is. The sword serves as his "heart". so to speak. It's something tied to him so you're somewhat right on it being something that originates from him. They're tied together, him and the sword.
Both of us are born from a human mother and a demon for a father. But as far as we've been able to figure out, he inherited whatever power was passed down via our demonic half. Nothing of the sort has manifested in me.
For all intents and purposes, I'm as human as they come.
[A half demon? Well, that would certainly explain the ears and tail... too bad Ciel isn't around to give him some insight on half-demons.]
Noted. Dealing with demons happens to be one of my specialties, so taking care of an inexperienced half-demon shouldn't be too difficult. [probably, maybe]
[ ...his specialties...? Is this guy an exorcist, too? And if he is, should he be concerned?]
In that case I'll leave him to you since you're his god. But if there really is anything else you need to know or any developments with his abilities, please don't hesitate to let me know.

[ Older twin brother... but details! ]
Needless to say, I just want to make sure he's going to be in good hands.

Of course. You can ask him yourself, I have no interest in mistreating my own shinki.

Long story short, it seals his abilities. This isn't something he should know he has. For his own safety.
